About Alexander Wolf

Me in one sentence: I am an insurance enthusiast with a passion for data and numbers. In order to combine my passion with my professional career path, I decided to start my career in the banking industry where numbers and data are used on a daily basis to juggle risks and profits. Since I wanted to be part of the digital future of banking I’ve joined ING as a dual student in 2017. During my bachelor studies I developed a greater interest in insurances and risk management. But I´ve also quickly learnt how in-transparent and non-digital insurance products often used to be and still are. I decided to go out in the world of insurances to change this. Using the possibility to combine my studies with my work as a dual student I joined the bancassurance project of ING for the remainder of my studies. During this time I was responsible for the product design for our new payment protection insurance for consumer loans bringing my ideas of a transparent insurance product to life. Wanting to further follow my passion for insurances I’ve decided to remain a part of this project after my studies as well to further change the way we do and think insurance. In my role at ING I was introducing and developing new digital product ideas and processes to the bank aligning the requirements and scope across different departments of the bank including Sales, Service, Legal, Compliance, Informational Risk and Operational Risk Departments always aiming for easy-to-understand, easy-to-use and transparent solutions.
