She partners with NGOs in West Africa and Southeast Asia, and works with industry and the government to strengthen forest governance and open space for civil society in international and national development, trade and climate policies. She also provided training sessions for their employees and community members. After three years with Indian NGOs, she presented the project results from over sites at international conferences and local communities and used the results to complete reports for the Indian government and NGOs. While in the USA, she conducted forestry focused research and created land management plans at Yale University and University of Colorado.
