I love Excel. We first met when I was just a kid messing around on Windows 3.1. I would use it to make charts for my science projects, which I thought it was really cool.only to discover it was pretty nerdy. No matter though, I was already a nerd. I loved math, puzzles and, ever since I can remember, I’ve LOVED the arts, especially storytelling & entertainment. The arts and entertainment give us hope, understanding and connection that could be lost otherwise. As I grew, my loves grew deeper and I knew I wanted to work with storytellers someday. When I went to college I realized I could fuse my nerdy, detail-oriented, analytical side with my artsy-fartsy side by becoming a Producer (cue Leo Bloom). Now, with over a decade’s worth of experience in Production Management, I have worked on some fantastic projects (with equally fantastic people), producing a range of content from documentary & reality tv to branded content & live events. I am well versed in managing all aspects of a production, from inception into fruition. I have worked on established series and on developing projects. I’ve created budgets & schedules to pitch, then managed those projects as they were green-lit and put into production. I have also worked short term as a production fixer/UPM, overseeing smaller units in the States for companies & productions based in the UK. I have managed shoots varying in size and budgets, filming on location throughout the US and internationally. I love to cost track (usually with my old buddy Excel) and create reports that have thorough, thoughtful projecting. I have managed projects with multiple departments and worked closely with accounting & BA departments, as well and liaised directly with networks and clients (including HBO, Universal Music Group, NBCU & Spotify). I really enjoy working in a collaborative environment as I am highly personable, big on communication, and an understanding - yet no nonsense - leader. My love of Excel & Office has also now broadened to include Movie Magic, PMI, Google Workplace and Slack. Having worked primarily for UK companies the past few years, I’m now looking to broaden my network and reconnect with old colleagues to see what everyone doing. I'd like to open myself to new experiences, whether they take me somewhere permanently or work within my current freelance lifestyle. That all said, let’s chat!
