About Alexandra Bodor

I am currently working as a family support worker for the Peter McVerry Trust. During my time spent working with individuals experiencing homelessness, I have gathered a lot of valuable and transferable experience. It has helped me understand how society operates, and how vital resources are for disadvantaged communities, it has helped me develop an immense level of compassion and empathy for individuals that come from all levels and parts of society. Recognising, that individuals experience hardship from all parts of life has pushed me into trying to provide resources to stop this from happening. Working in social care, volunteering in the non-profit sector, and understanding mental health, addiction, trauma, and stress, while working for-profit businesses and studying business, innovation, and entrepreneurship has helped me see that there is a need for service provision for individuals who are working. Therefore, I have started my own business teaching Yoga classes. My business is called Begin Again Yoga, this is to remind all individuals that with every cycle of breath we have the option and opportunity to Begin Again.
