About Alexandra Daniels

Lexie has a master's in forensic psychology, a professional counselor track from The Chicago School. She holds a B.S. in psychology with a minor in criminal justice from Weber State University and an A.S. in Nondestructive Inspections from the Community College of the Air Force. Lexie is also, Retired Master Sergeant (MSgt) Daniels, as she served 20 years in the United States Air Force as an Active Duty, Reserve and Active Guard Reserve member. During her master's she completed her graduate counseling internship at West Florida Hospital with the crisis stabilization psychiatric unit. Her main interests are the cognitive and emotional impacts on survivors of autoimmune brain disease, human development, neuropsychology and violent offenders. Lexie held a year-long leadership role in the Cinematic Serial Killer Research Project with The Chicago School; and worked on graduate level research during her undergrad with college students in the psychology and physics departments on misconceptions, conceptual change, and perception. She has passed the National Counselor (NCE) and Jurisprudence exams and has received her associate Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC-A) license in North Carolina. She is currently working in private practice at Kaizen Counseling Services and at The Chicago School as a University Assistant with the Office of Placement & Training department as well as the Master of Forensic Psychology Professional Counselor program managing multiple master's courses related to internship prep and synchronous courses with field work.
