About Alexandra Earley

I strive to have a growth mindset in all areas of my life. I want to be a lifelong learner and create memorable experiences for myself and others. I have learned how to work hard and I am confident in the abilities I possess, but I want to continually grow and add to those skills. When I fail, I do my best to learn from the experience and I do what I have to do to move forward. I’m not perfect, but I don’t think anyone is, and I think that realization is actually one of my strengths. I don’t put people on a pedestal, regardless of their position I expect them to make mistakes and don’t hold it against them when they do. However, because I try to evaluate myself after mistakes and improve, I hope others will do the same and I expect people in authority to take that step and recognize when they messed up. The best bosses I’ve had were those that realized they weren’t perfect but knew they were good at their job, and expected me to give my best every day because they also gave their best. When there were days my best was not as much as I could normally give, they understood, and I understood their bad days too, because we recognized each other as people. We both had fewer bad days because of that understanding.
