About Alexandra Fuller

I am a scientist at Nysno Bio, a biotechnology company that develops gene therapies for Parkinson’s Disease. My core competencies include histology, microbiology, plasmid cloning, study design, immunoassays and non-human primate (NHP) toxicology and safety studies. My research interests are CNS Diseases, gene therapy, AAV, HSV, cancer, and neurodegeneration. As a scientist, I coordinate histology activities for various projects, including developing and validating histology assays, performing molecular science, cloning and cell culture (mammalian and SF9), and analyzing tissue samples from NHP toxicology and safety studies. I work with a team of researchers, technicians, and veterinarians to ensure the quality and safety of surgical procedures and results. I am passionate about applying my knowledge and skills in neuroscience and molecular science to advance the development of gene therapies that can improve the lives of patients with rare diseases. I am eager to contribute to the organization's culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence, and to bring diverse perspectives and experiences to the team.
