About Alexandra George

Alexandra is an AACTA-nominated film producer collaborating with awarded artists, directors and advertising agencies to produce major visual works across the cultural and commercial sectors. At a senior level she was responsible for producing major campaigns for recognisable brands that include Apple, Nike, Virgin Australia, eBay, VICE, Officeworks, Big W and Champion. Prioritising depth and impact, Alexandra produced creative work for the Australian Centre for Contemporary Art (ACCA), Museum of Contemporary Art (MCA), National Gallery of Victoria (NGV) and was nominated for an AACTA Award and an ARIA Award. Her short films have been programmed by major Australian film festivals (MIFF Accelerator, Sydney FF Dendy Awards, Flickerfest, St Kilda FF), recognised with nominations and wins along the way, screening at some of the world's most selective international film festivals including the Telluride Film Festival in Colorado, USA. Alexandra has a background in integrated marketing communications through her Bachelor of Professional Communications with Distinction (RMIT) and holds a Masters of Producing from the Victorian College of the Arts, University of Melbourne—where in 2014 she was named VCA Producer of the Year. In 2024, she completed her Juris Doctor in Law at Monash University. She was the Head of Branded Content at Sissy Screens, a not-for-profit that aims to celebrate queer creativity by, for and about the LGBTQIA+ community. al-george.com
