Policy lead. Working in collaboration to develop sports policy and practice in England. Working closely with Government Departments to develop policy to tackle inequalities to ensure that everyone can benefit from sport and physical activity. Over 25 years experience including sports policy, safeguarding, increasing participation, engaging women and girls and engaging people who identify as LGBTQ+, workforce development, volunteer and club development. I have worked in both the sports and leisure industry. My employment has include the private sector - sports consultancy, sports policy, local authority - sports development role and the Not for Profit Sector - leisure centre management and leisure contact / development of leisure trusts. My recent successes include the development of Opening School Facilities which resulted in a £30m yearly Government Investment. Playing an influencing role in the Positions of Trust expansion to include Sports Coaches. Responding to the then Sports Ministers direction to Safeguard all in Martial Arts by working collaboratively to develop the Safeguarding Code in a Martial Arts. Volunteering role - School Governor Director in a small property company. Enjoy playing tennis and running. Love of photography.
