About Alexandra Postrigan

Cultivating shared spaces for dialogue and collaboration across cultures and disciplines, I specialize in partnership development and policy dialogue in biodiversity and sustainable development. As a Partnership Development and Facilitation Specialist with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), I lead the design and facilitation of multi-stakeholder dialogues—known as Trialogues—under the Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services Network (BES-Net). This global consortium supports the uptake of biodiversity knowledge in policy and practice. My work bridges policy, science, and practice, ensuring inclusive engagement processes where diverse perspectives inform evidence-based decision-making. I apply methodologies such as the Trialogue approach and Theory U to foster meaningful collaboration across sectors and knowledge systems. Prior to joining BES-Net, I spent over a decade advancing sustainable development initiatives across Eastern Europe, Southeast Asia, and the MENA, supporting governments, local communities, and civil society in building cross-sectoral partnerships.
