About Alexandra Puiu

During more than 10 years I have worked in distribution of independent and Hollywood major studios movies in Central and Eastern Europe. I have helped the companies I worked for to increase their revenues and profit through analyzing the international market trends and by seeking new business lines. I have excellent communication skills and I have built relationships and increased my network of content providers that lead to the acquisition on all rights basis of successful franchises. I have also created many interconnections with clients from cinema and TV channels within the region. While I value transparency and honesty, I treasure people, as I consider teamwork extremely important and by having a good leader, teams can deliver great results. Apart of my passion for movies, I get very enthusiastic about socializing, and what interests me most is travelling and learning more about different cultures. Discovering how the social and economic environments can influence human behavior is another aspect that attracts me. I have been told by the people that I am the best active listener. I have authentic leadership skill and I connect without effort with people. I have also assisted complementary businesses to the theatrical distribution, therefore, I have a comprehensive understanding of the entertainment area. While I was located in Romania, I had also overseen and worked directly for all other territories in the CEE region which lead to an effective appreciation of these markets. I am very interested about the current increasing trend of technology and I am eager to learn new technologies that provide new business opportunities. I am looking forward to taking the next step in my career. I am willing to relocate should there be interesting projects that will allow me to use my expertise in management and movie distribution.
