About Alexandra Ramirez
Hey there! My name is Alexandra and I'm an experienced trauma-informed yoga and meditation facilitator (E-RYT500), budding yoga therapist, mental health advocate, and mother to an adventurous toddler. After many years of practicing/facilitating, I am currently seeking a Masters Degree in Yoga Therapy to continue offering holistic mind-body resources to underrepresented members of my community at a clinical level. I'm formally trained in Trauma-Informed Yoga, Adaptive Yoga, Children’s Yoga, Yoga Nidra, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) with over hours of training and have taught over 2,400 hours of mind-body practices in traditional studios, substance-use treatment centers, schools, homeless shelters, and many more. My journey to the mat comes from my own lived-experience with anxiety, depression, and substance-misuse and I have vowed to share the healing tools of the yoga practice as a way to cultivate self love, resilience, and ultimately community.
