About Alexandra Roberson

I am a graduate of The University of Southern California, School of Cinematic Arts. I obtained my Masters of Fine Arts in Film and Television Production with a focus in Directing and Producing. I also graduated from Spelman College (#1 Historically Black College/University) in Atlanta, Georgia with a BA in Theatre and Performance. I consider myself an ambitious, self-starting individual who actively finds ways to enhance my knowledge, as well as my community’s, in the aspects of leadership and the arts. I have garnered valuable experience by shadowing, volunteering, and networking with knowledgeable professionals. I am gaining exposure to different sides of the industry through internship/volunteer opportunities, pursuing related coursework, as well as competing in various critically acclaimed film festivals. I believe that I have been very blessed to follow into my passion, and actively push everyday to challenge the norm in this industry. I plan to one-day use the knowledge that I have acquired to give back to my community, and teach and influence the next generation of movers and shakers.
