About Alexandra Schaeffer

Former Clinical Research Assistant with a passion for advancing public health through research. I bring a unique combination of hands-on clinical research experience and operational know-how, supported by a master’s in Community Health and Prevention Research from Stanford School of Medicine and a B.S. in Business Management from USF. While at Stanford, I contributed to impactful clinical studies. I reviewed patient data, supported protocol compliance, managed regulatory documentation, and collaborated across teams to ensure GCP standards were met. Since then, I’ve spent years managing programs where precision, compliance, and communication were critical: reviewing medical records, proofreading contracts, wrangling stakeholders, and navigating regulations in audit-heavy environments. A key strength throughout my career has been building strong, trusted relationships- including collaborating with internal teams and external partners- to drive alignment, foster engagement, and create mutually beneficial outcomes. I’m now excited to return full-circle to clinical research, where my skills, attention to detail, and natural curiosity can directly support meaningful, patient-centered work.
