About Alexandra Thys

Director Alliances and Marketing, Education Services, EMEA After my years at IBM EMEA where I developed the previous IBM Education delivery ( ATP ) and reselling models, I now have the opportunity to grow my skills and experience at Arrow through several job roles. As Partner Manager EMEA, I was able to establish and develop a network of trusted partners across the Globe to support our Training activities and grow our joint business. Since some years, my scope broaden with taking the responsibility of Alliances Manager for Education EMEA, working very closely with our top 10 IT Vendors on the Education side, to identify business opportunities, turn those into key sales plays and finally deploy in 15+ countries in Europe. Thanks to this position, I have the opportunity to position Arrow Education as a trusted partner for those IT Vendors for their Education business. Another benefit for me is to be exposed to several Education models giving me a good insight into best practices and keys for success. Another facet of the Alliances management role is for me to create bridges between our Education business and our Distribution Business to create a strong and unique value proposition not only for Arrow but mostly to our partners and their end users. Skills are key for product adoption and customer success! With the continuous IT Education World evolving to Virtual and Digital I also have exposure to very interesting projects : reinventing the organization, streamlining processes, tools and teams to meet the new market demands. Finally adding the Marketing to the Alliances management allows me to proudly manage a team of Subject Matter Experts and Marketing people, defining necessary tools and marketing strategy for the future.
