Experienced Senior VP, Regional Manager with a demonstrated history of working in the Pulp and Paper machinery industry. Skilled in Process Optimization, Maintenance, Project Management and Operational Excellence, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma. As mill manager, I was responsible for the entire mill production (1.5 million tons of hardwood-bleached pulp per year), quality, maintenance, costs, logistic. Strong operations professional in process engineering, order execution and delivery project, mill wide maintenance contract, field services and large shutdown works Currently, as Senior Vice President, I am responsible for Latin America Pulp and Paper Services Business Management including large mill wide maintenance contracts. Responsible for the profit and loss, strategy deployment of the region, new services business for all areas in the customers plants, such as wood processing, cooking, fiber line, pulp drying, recovery boiler, power boiler, white liquor plant, evaporation, and service centers, spare part team, project delivery, engineering, maintenance, quality, safety and environment team. Large experience in commissioning and startups of new Andritz Cooking and Bleaching plants in all South America. I have helped and improving developing new products, developing resources for process services engineers and mechanical engineers. Solid knowledge in different cooking methods such as conventional cooking, MCC, EMCC, Compact Cooking G1 and G2, Lo Solids, Down Flow Lo-Solids processes, Washing, Screening and Bleaching, also as assembly supervisor and maintenance of equipment related to their processes. In additional I worked twelve (12) years for pulp and paper industry in different areas: instrumentation, process (digester, washing, screening and bleaching), and mechanical engineering with a focus on process.
