About Alexandre Failler

At NATIXIS], Alexandre leads a group of 25 individuals managing the loan portfolio of the CIB in the Americas (Infra, Energy, Transportation, Metals & Mining, Real Estate, Corporate, Fund Financing), with a special emphasis on Optimizing its Risk-Return profile through Sales, Credit Insurances, Securitizations, Hedges, Structured Funding, Tax Credits, etc. Before joining the Americas platform, he launched the newly created Alternative Credits Syndication & Capital Release Division desk. The team dedicates its time to O2D initiatives on alternative credits (e.g. infra mezzanine debt, public sector financings, etc) and alternative distribution (e.g. synthetic risk transfers, joint offers between CIB and Investment Management divisions, etc). Within the Portofolio Management department, Alexandre was previously in charge of the ESS team which handled 3 mandates: 1 - Managing and developping Co-Lending platforms (Infra Debt, Real Estate Debt and Public Sector) with Life Insurance companies and Asset Managers 2 - Structuring solutions meant to optimize scarce resources (capital, funding.) notably through a large Synthetic Securitization Program 3 - Distributing loans to EMEA investors (Private Sales Team) The team was composed of 15 professionals (marketers, credit structurers & sales). Risk Magazine named this department "Credit Portfolio Manager of the year" in 2019. Alexandre is a French Certified Public Accountant (Expert comptable – Commissaires aux comptes), and he holds a Master’s degree in Banking & Finance from Pantheon Assas University, and a Bachelor degree in Economics majored in Mathematics and Statistics from Université Paris-Saclay.
