About Alexandre Fallon

My practice focuses on litigation, including commercial litigation, class actions, arbitration, insolvency and restructuring, administrative law, constitutional law, consumer protection, environmental, regulatory and aboriginal law and compliance with the Québec Charter of the French Language. In the course of my legal studies at the University of Sherbrooke, I worked as a law clerk for The Honourable Justice Léo Daigle of the Québec Superior Court and was a teaching assistant for professors Nathalie Vézina and Éliane-Marie Gaulin. I also did a study trip at the Aarhus University, in Denmark. Since becoming an Associate at Osler, I have appeared before the Régie des marchés agricoles et alimentaire du Québec, a Canadian Judicial Council Inquiry Committee, various arbitral tribunals, the Court of Québec, the Québec Superior Court, the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, the Federal Court, the Québec Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court of Canada. I have also advised clients in their appearances before the Québec Bureau d'audiences publiques de l'environnement and a Joint Review Panel constituted by the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador and the Government of Canada. I regularly represent clients before the Office québécois de la langue française in the context of seeking a francization certificate under the Québec Charter of the French Language.
