Experienced Executive Manager and C-Level Executive, with over 22 years of professional experience in the IT and Telecommunications areas, with particular expertise in the Information Systems and Technology Governance, Management & Strategy. For the last 10 years has been the CEO, Chairman or Executive Board Member in different companies, responsible for Business, Financial, Communication and Labor Environment turnarounds, on large scale businesses. Alexandre has a Computer Science Degree from Lisbon University and he is a Master in Sales & Marketing Management by TeamView Institute. Alexandre holds several business Certifications, in the areas of Technology, Training & Communication and Project Management. Alexandre has developed his professional career in Technology & Management Consulting Business, with Coopers & Lybrant, PricewaterhouseCoopers and IBM. He also developed Executive and Management roles in Grupo RAR (Portuguese Group in the Food, Industry, Travel and Export businesses) and in the Strategic Outsourcing Unit within IBM Portugal, as well as several Telecommunications companies in Portugal and abroad. During his career he has been responsible for several Team and Department leadership roles, in the Analysis, Design and Deployment of Integrated & Complex Information Systems, with special focus in the Telecommunications Industry (Fixed and Mobile), both in national and international projects. Alexandre also developed several projects in the Public, Financial, Utilities, Industry, Retail and Mass Distribution sectors. In his career he was in charge of developing and deploying several IT & Technology Strategic Plans, for Organic Restructuring processes and for Merger & Acquisitions initiatives.
