About Alexandre Kremer

As a chemist and chemical engineer by training, I have spent nearly a decade unraveling the mysteries of this ambivalent material known as plastic for local and global players across the value chain. Developing System Solutions for a Circular Economy: With more than 6 years at Systemiq, I co-authored several landmark reports including "Breaking the Plastic Wave" and "Planet Positive Chemicals." I provided strategic advice to C-suite leaders in the relevant sectors and obtained first-hand knowledge of industry pain points. Scaling track record from implementation projects: I co-led the scale-up of the waste management Indonesian program Project STOP for almost 3 years. The program culminated to a team of 40 people and brought waste services to people and managed >10m€ in grants. Scientist by heart and training: I published several academic publications as the first author on the topics of catalysis, biodegradable plastics, and chemical industry transition. At Systemiq, I strengthened my expertise in alternative plastic materials and recycling technologies by reviewing >70 innovative technologies in the space. In 2024, together with Andreas Wagner, I launched Radical Dot. At Radical Dot, we are on a mission to unlock carbon from complex plastic waste streams by introducing groundbreaking chemical technology that transforms them into essential chemical building blocks.
