About Alexandre Luc

Born in Gap in 1995, I am a self-motivated, passionate, and highly resourceful engineer who is eager to accompany companies in their Digital Transformation journey. As a kid, I developed an early passion for sciences, which led me to move to Versailles in 2013 the eyes full of stars, aiming for becoming an engineer. Sainte-Geneviève School offered me a scholarship and made it possible for me to achieve my dreams: after 2 years of intensive work, I integrated Ecole Centrale Paris, a prestigious and one of the best French engineering school. More than providing quality lectures in various topics (from Math and Software Engineering to Finance and Economics), the administration supported students in their associative engagements. Member of the student life association, I have also been elected as the treasurer of the media association NX Television, gathering more than 80 students and with annual turnover of 30 euros. My desire of getting an international experience drove me to go to Munich in 2017 to achieve a Double Degree in Mechanics and Management at the Technical University of Munich. My student job position in Consline AG, providing market analysis for automotive manufacturers such as VW, and pioneer company in the area of AI-supported Big Data Analysis, as well as my Semester Thesis project for Fraunhofer Institute Augsburg, gave me the opportunity to develop my professional experience. I wrote my Master Thesis at Airbus D&S in Ottobrunn up until February 2020, in the field of Systems Engineering and IT. During this time, I set up and evaluated a collaborative software environment to support uncertainty management for complex aeronautical systems. Here, I employed a combination of mathematical and statistical approaches to identify and monitor critical parameters from the early development stage of new complex systems. During my thesis, I worked closely with a team of Solution Architects and Business Analysts, providing me insight into their specific roles through involvement in a wide variety of business meetings and projects. This experience motivated me to embrace a career in which I can make use of both my engineering and business skills. Furthermore, I had the opportunity to show that I am able to exercise good communication and interpersonal skills in international working environment (business fluency in German, English and French). In 2020, I joined Phoenix Integration as an Application Engineer with Pre and Post Sales responsibilities across Europe. I joined the Ansys family in 2021 after acquisition.
