About Alexandre Meldem

I build the bridges that connect transformative Swiss deep tech with the global capital and markets required to scale. My career has been dedicated to closing the gap between groundbreaking innovation and real-world impact, from the most hazardous industrial sites to executive boardrooms. As the operational leader who built Flyability's Americas business from the ground up, I have a first-hand understanding of what it takes to turn technology into a market-defining success. My proudest achievements include: Scaling the U.S. business to over CHF 10M in revenue, establishing the company as the undisputed market leader. Driving 160% revenue growth in a single year (2022) by building the commercial strategy and team. Securing a multi-million-dollar investment from a Fortune 500 customer (Cargill) after converting them from client to strategic partner. Co-authoring the foundational ASME Standard for industrial drone inspections, shaping the regulatory framework for the entire industry. In my current role as Head of International Promotion for Deep Tech Nation, I leverage this operational experience to strengthen Switzerland's innovation ecosystem, attracting foreign VCs and creating new opportunities for the next generation of world-changing startups. I am particularly proud to have led the DTN Information Platform and Swiss Deep Tech Report projects.
