About Alexandre Paulus

International and multi-cultural (lived in 6 countries and worked in more than 25, mainly EMEA). Fluent in French and English. As former officer in the Naval Action Force of the French Navy, I achieved early selection as Warship Captain (less than 9% of selected officers). In this role, I acquired strong skills in operational management, building and leading teams (25) often under demanding conditions. Engaged and highly adaptable, I quickly create trusted relationships to reach objectives and to overcome obstacles in teams and with my clients. Flexible and endowed with sharp communication skills, combined with an ability to work with people at all levels in an organization, I finessed by a year’s special attachment to the Deputy Commander of the French Fleet, responsible for 98 ships and 11 sailors. Over my career, I have developed excellent assessment skills to become a reliable and strategic thinker, plus controlled risk analyst, particularly under the pressure and extreme duress of military conditions (led armed, investigation team of 12). I am able to apply these skills to a wide scope of non-military activities (people, data, organization, project). A career-driven, project manager with entrepreneurship experience (Co-creator of software recording and displaying tactical intelligence on French warships). Responsible for the maintenance of high-technology equipment, estimated in tens of millions of euros. Manage teams in close collaboration with private industrials to meet deadlines and budgets, especially during the major periods of maintenance. In order to enhance my value for any company, I am combining my Engineering background and military experience with an MBA program to be ready to face all new challenges.
