About Alexandre Ramos

One of my first memories from school is going to the break time and chat with all of my colleagues and having my teacher tell my parents "Alexandre is one of the most talkative students we ever had. He can talk to everyone at any given time, no matter the subject or the place - he surely has the power of communication". As I grew up in Salvador - a city in the northeast part of Brazil - I just developed even more this skill and now I know that the effective communication is one of the most important skills for a successful leader and business. I am keen on academic research, more specifically in Internacional and Comercial Law and I am currently working as Research Assistant for Professor Diogo Rosenthal Coutinho (from University of São Paulo) in the GDPP (Grupo Direito e Políticas Públicas - Public Policies and Law Group). I am also a Teacher Assistant of Professor José Levi Mello do Amaral Júnior in the subject Constitutional Law I and II. Furthermore, I am currently an Associate Researcher of the Comparative Law Study Group (Grupo de Estudos em Direito Comparado) and of the Hannah Arendt Law Study Group (Centro de Estudos de Hannah Arendt), both at the University of São Paulo. In the professional field, I am currently an intern at BGA Legal - an recognized boutique law firm specialized in Economic Law and Competition Law. Also, I worked as an intern at the Federal Public Defender's Office (DPU-SP) in the Migrants, Stateless People and Refuge sector and also at TozziniFreire Advogados in the area of ​​Corporate Law. In all of these spaces, I have grown personally and professionally and, in addition to the friendships that I carry forward, I impacted my colleagues around me at the same time in which I performed an ethical and responsible work. Besides my academical and professional lives, I also work voluntarily against some socials issues as abandoned pets and Human Rights for immigrants.
