About Alexandria Pinter

As a lifelong artist, I have always been attracted to work that involves creativity, communication, and adaptability. This has lead me down many paths, including working in the food industry, tutoring, teaching, and freelancing. All of these paths have strengthened my interpersonal and problem solving skills, allowing me to better serve my community whether it be as an educator or facilitator. I have many years of experience working with children of all ages in a variety of environments. As an educator, I have worked in students' homes, through local libraries, at schools, and in a virtual classroom setting-Student Teaching- As a student teacher in Palos Verdes I taught Drawing & Painting as well as Ceramics to 9-12th grade students. While I was only able to teach in person for three months before classes switched to virtual in March 2020, I formed many bonds with my students that have made me a better person and educator. The transition to a virtual classroom was sudden, but I was able to make it efficient and fulfilling. I created video demonstrations, hosted virtual classes to teach and check up on students' well being, and provided prompt feedback to support my students' needs and academic growth.
