About Alexavier Mejia

My name is Alexavier Mejia, I am Sophomore at Saint Martin's University in Lacey WA, studying Social Work. I am currently playing with Saint Martins University Mens soccer team at a D2 level. Previously, I was at New Mexico State University where I played with NMSU UDA Soccer academy, a year round schedule. I played in the UPSL Premier Division which I was very excited about the opportunity. My best experience and learning opportunity was when I was playing two years at FC Malaga City Academy in Estepona, Spain where I played against some of Europe's finest football clubs; including Real Betis, and Atletico de Madrid, and others to name a few. I believe to be in a successful team, you must be able to communicate, have camaraderie, teamwork, ability to be coached and grit. One unique thing about me is I am dominant with both feet, which allows me to play various positions, and I am very confident where I play, depending where coach needs me. I am open to opportunities to play in the U.S. and or international.
