About Alexia Gordon

As a Human Survivability Lead at the U.S. Army Nuclear and CWMD Agency, I manage a portfolio that includes developing the Army's human survivability strategy, updating the Army's personnel risk and casualty doctrine, leading the Army Biodefense Forum's Executive Secretariat, and drafting the Army's Biodefense Strategy Implementation Plan. I have over 2.5 years of experience in this role, where I leverage my medical expertise and strategic thinking to enhance the Army's preparedness and response to biodefense threats. In addition to my civilian federal service, I am also a Board-certified family physician with a passion for writing. I have authored the award-winning Gethsemane Brown Mysteries series, which has been published by HENERY PRESS PUBLISHING since 2016. I hold multiple degrees from prestigious institutions, including Vassar College, Drexel University College of Medicine, Southern New Hampshire University, and the U.S. Naval War College.
