About Alexia Rule

My name is Alexia Rule and I am a 4th-year PR student at the University of Georgia in the Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communications. Between my general business minor and entrepreneurship certificate program classes, I also spend a lot of time across the street in the Terry College of Business. I will complete my undergraduate studies in Spring 2025, and then plan to finish my graduate degree in Integrated Advertising and Public Relations by the Spring of 2026 through UGA's Double Dawgs program! I am also in leadership positions and a member of several student organizations here at UGA, including the Society of Entrepreneurs, Women in Media, and the PRSSA and the RUF Connections team. Each of these have given me invaluable experiences and have truly enhanced my time and the community I am surrounded by here in Athens. Outside of my studies, I have also gained experience through a longterm marketing internship, and other social media and PR/marketing management roles. In 2023, I fell in love with journalism, and took on the role of an Audience Engagement Editor for The Red & Black Publishing Co. I pursue my lifelong, first dream with my showjumping career that allowed me to conduct international business and compete around the world prior to coming to UGA. I look forward to the future as an aspiring public relations professional!
