As a care manager at Optum, I leverage my 29 years of experience as a licensed vocational nurse (LVN) and case manager to provide quality and cost-effective healthcare services to patients and clients across multiple platforms. I am proficient in Microsoft Office and other software applications that enable me to perform my duties efficiently and effectively.My previous roles as a floor nurse, wound care nurse, staff developer, discharge planner, and case manager in various settings, such as skilled nursing centers, acute hospitals, and IPAs, have equipped me with the skills and knowledge to handle complex and diverse cases, coordinate care plans, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. I am passionate about delivering patient-centered and holistic care that meets the needs and expectations of the individuals and organizations I serve. I am currently looking for a part-time or full-time position that will not conflict with my current role at Optum.
