My role is to help organizations succeed with their data strategy and innovation commitments while ensuring regulatory compliance, enhancing privacy maturity and increasing customer trust. Effective leader, I believe in investing in people and collaborating with others to canvass creative and practical solutions that support business objectives. I am skilled at translating intricate concepts into business terms and actionable advice. I like to stay on top of cutting edge legal developments (e.g. new privacy laws, court decisions) and new technologies (e.g, generative A.I.) so as to influence project planning, budgeting and decision-making. As Shaw’s Director IP and Privacy Officer, I oversaw a team of IP and Privacy experts in their day-to-day activities, and advised Shaw’s executive leadership team and the board on privacy-related risks and trends.
