I am a Senior at Stephen F. Austin State University, I am graduating in December of 2023. I have a love for agriculture, and decided to pursue that when I went to college. I have an interest in broilers, dairy cattle and swine. My interest for dairy cattle actually came from a course I took at SFA, it opened my eyes to this industry and sparked an interest in learning about it. My interest in swine comes from when I was in FFA and showed swine, I loved growing and raising hogs while being able to show them and watch that hard work pay off. My interest in broilers also comes from a course at SFA, I was able to go to the poultry barns and see the broilers and how it all works. That made me want to pursue a career in the broiler industry, such as a Broiler Service Technician.
