My name is Alexis Gettemy and I work remotely in Lakeland, FL as the Social Media Specialist for Ultimate Medical Academy. I received my Bachelors of Science in Communications, with a concentration in Interpersonal and Organizational studies and a Biology minor, from Florida Southern College. Beginning my undergraduate studies, I worked for Florida Southern College as a Campus Event Photographer. After working in this role for 2 years, I began working in social media and PR & marketing with my internship at Florida Southern College. I developed my niche for online trends and found my way into digital marketing, social media marketing/management, and brand strategy in agency work. I aim to create content that connects users to our brand by providing value, cultivating a supportive online community, and sharing the stories of real people. I am grateful to continue to grow in my skillset and learn more each day.
