About Alexis Harris

I am the Executive Director for Global Circular Fashion at SCRgroup, Australia’s largest and most innovative clothing collection company. I have been responsible for acquiring and maintaining new and existing business at national and global level, creating and managing the delivery of SCRgroup’s communication strategy and leading innovation and research into the clothing reuse industry in Australia. As part of my work in consumer behaviour around clothing reuse and recycling, I am also the creator of SCRgroup’s primary and secondary education department providing educational and fundraising programs to schools across the country and I have authored Friends of Our World, which is part of a series of children’s education storybooks that teaches younger generations about the importance of clothing reuse and recycling. I have appeared on prime time TV including Channel 7, 9 and 10 as well as local and mainstream radio.
