About Alexis Jeffryes

Equipped with my love for learning and strong work ethic, I have found that I flourish while working with others and completing projects independently. With my strong leadership and problem-solving skills, I look forward to pursuing a career in corporate law. While at UNL, I have been selected for the Business Honors Academy and served on the Philanthropy Committee. I have further developed my communication and interpersonal skills through both of these. I was the Assistant Financial Vice President of my sorority, Gamma Phi Beta, during my sophomore year. I currently serve as the Financial Vice President. During both these terms, I enjoyed being able to work independently and behind the scenes to ensure all chapter activities ran smoothly. I also enjoyed being a part of conversations and making decisions that could impact the entire chapter. In addition to these roles, I work as a Law Clerk at Pollack and Ball, LLC in Lincoln, NE. I have learned about different legal processes through this position and further developed my ability to take initiative on different projects and cases. I aim to obtain my Bachelor’s in Economics and continue to Law School. After completing this second degree, I intend to work in the large corporate law area.
