About Alexis Ring

I am an Artist and Designer who is passionate about using art to provoke an emotion in others. From a young age art has always been an outlet in my life. While attending Towson University I learned to create in all categories of the art field. I worked with all art media, from painting and sculpting to metalwork and digital design. In my junior year at Towson I chose to study abroad in Australia, on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland. This was a beautiful atmosphere to be thriving in, and I was able to draw inspiration from my time across the world when I returned home. While at Towson I took courses in Psychology as well, hoping that when I graduated I would be able to understand all different types of people and the complexity of the mentally ill mind. Now that I have graduated with a Bachelors, I am currently on the path to becoming an art educator as well as an art therapist. A main goal of mine is to show others that art can be a therapeutic release, and a rewarding self discovery. Which ever path I choose for my career, I will continue to create on my own to express my artist within.
