Alexia an international performer draws from over 25 years of combined dance experience in Belly dance, jazz and modern. Formerly a dancer in New York's most respected night clubs and restaurants in New York City, Alexia has performed extensively in the United States, Mexico, and Europe and has been featured in publications, radio, commercials, and television including MTV. She is proud to have been trained by a great artist, the late Ibrahim Farrah, and now continues to study with the master in Oriental Dance Yousry Sharif in workshops. Other great workshop teachers that Alexia continues to study with is Samara, a protege of Ibrahim Farrah and also Mohamed Shahin. Alexia Currently performs and teaches classes and workshops in the Knoxville and surrounding areas. Alexia teaches classes in Middle Eastern Belly Dance from basic to advance and coaches trained dancers to achieve better technique and performance skills to help bring out the best in them.
