About Alexis Vigorito

With over 10 years of experience in the education and social services sectors, I am a Comhab at Hamaspik, where I work with individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. I provide them with support, guidance, and advocacy, using my bachelor's degree in psychology and minor in English to understand and communicate effectively with diverse populations. I have developed and demonstrated my attention to detail, interpersonal skills, and leadership abilities in various roles, such as a teacher's assistant, an onsite supervisor, and a workshop facilitator. I have contributed to the design and delivery of lesson plans, practical sessions, and sensory activities, as well as the observation, supervision, and discipline of children and students. My mission is to empower and enrich the lives of the people I serve, and to learn and grow from them as well. I am passionate about creating and optimizing the learning and play environment for the individuals in my care, and collaborating with my team and other stakeholders to achieve the best outcomes. I am looking for an opportunity to apply my skills and expertise in a challenging and rewarding role, where I can make a positive difference in the community.
