About Alexis Zerbst

I am now working at achieving my goals of becoming a lawyer as a rising third-year law student at Wayne State University Law School. My second-year has been filled with excitement. From competing on a national Moot Court team, to learning the Journal of Law in Society will be publishing my note, to being chosen as Chancellor for the upcoming Moot Court Team. I look forward to the impact all of this will have in my third-year. Prior to law school, I had the opportunity to clerk for a criminal defense attorney for a little over three years. This past summer, I had the privilege to work at the Michigan Supreme Court clerking for Justice Cavanagh. Both of these experiences have allowed me to explore the legal landscape while continuously learning and being curious of the variety of practice areas available to me. This summer, I await the opportunity to be surrounded by next level lawyers at Clark Hill as a summer assoicate in the Labor and Employment Group.
