About Alfonso Salas

With over eight years of experience in the traffic management industry, I am passionate about developing employees to deliver safe and efficient services. As the Engagement and Development Manager at Traffic Management, I oversee the training, safety, and performance of over 300 staff across multiple locations. I also partner with senior leaders and clients to implement best practices, policies, and procedures that align with our mission and values. In my previous roles as a Territory Safety Manager and a Training and Safety Supervisor, I contributed to the improvement of the safety culture, the reduction of incidents and injuries, and the enhancement of the customer satisfaction and retention. Some of the skills that I have developed and applied in my work include supervisory skills, employee training, workplace safety, and traffic control. I hold three certifications from the American Traffic Safety Services Association (ATSSA): Traffic Control Specialist (TCS), Traffic Control Technician (TCT), and ATSSA FIT Trainer. I am motivated by the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives and careers of my colleagues and the communities we serve.
