Alfred Moran is an expert in transforming under-performing companies and organizations into positions of prosperity and optimum value. He specializes in strategic, operational and financial best practices. As CEO, Chief Restructure Officer or consultant to Senior Management or Boards, he has been responsible for over 70 company transformations. His Mission is to Top-Grade the companies he leads and the managements with whom he consults. With his objective of optimizing best practices, Alfred has held seven CEO positions and three NYSE traded public company directorships. He is currently Chairman of The Moran Group in Houston, Texas. Recent company engagements have been in Drill Bit Manufacturing, Energy Machinery Manufacturing, Hydraulic Fracturing, Fiber Optic Backbone Networks, Dental Aligner 3-D Manufacturing and Real Estate Private Equity. Alfred is a former member of the Board of Directors and Audit Committee Chairman of the Center Coast MLP & Infrastructure Fund, Inc.(NYSE:CEN) and is on the Executive Council of the Board of the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD) Texas TriCities Chapter. He is a former Director and Audit Committee Chairman of Cornell Companies, Inc.(NYSE:CRN) and a former board member of Plains Resources, Inc.(NYSE: PLX/PAA). In 2013 he left the City of Houston as the Director of Administration & Regulatory Affairs. As the City of Houston Chief Administrative Officer and Chief Regulatory Officer, he served for six years in both the Bill White and Annise Parker Administrations. He was also responsible for the transformations of sixteen administrative and regulatory business units. He has an MBA from the Harvard Business School and a BA in Philosophy from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is a Member of Young Presidents' Organization (YPO Gold) in Houston.
