About Alfredo Cortese

Graduated in computer science engineering, I have an extensive experience in an international environment, coordinating the activities of teams in different countries and multiple time zone. This allows me to constantly improve both my sensitivity to different cultures and my communication skills. I am able to clearly explain complex technical details, to track and synthesize the project status, and to evaluate the impact of the project on the business goals. After working for several years in software development, first as a developer, then as a team leader and as responsible for a project, I am focused on software program management and I coordinate the different teams involved in the entire software development life cycle, from requirement planning and design to customer support after deployment. I am experienced in traditional project management (PmBok) and in the agile methodology. I strive to continuously improve my analytical and problem solving skills, my decision making process, and my attitude to critical and strategic thinking. From technical point of view, my interests are software development, cloud and server-less computing, machine learning and AI.
