About Alhasan Usman
I have both theoretical and practical experience in taxation, tax policy and fiscal policy. I have been working with Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) Nigeria, the Nigerian premier tax revenue generating agency since 2010. I had served various assignments and functions in the Service, which gave me opportunity to learn practical aspects of taxation. I co- authored a book on companies imcome taxation in 2023, and still working on others. I do published many papers particularly on taxation and tax policy on various national and international journals. I do attended national and international conferences on economic and taxation. I was elnlisted into the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) list of international experts on tax Policy and research in 2023.
