Partnering with maths and English subject leads in schools and trusts to improve outcomes while helping people make progress in their lives through learning. Always innovating, curriculum is at the heart of everything we do at Pearson – I can support you to get your offering right for your school and your learners. Call me on 07713 388253 ABOUT ME Mum / wife / daughter / sister / friend / supporter. Paddleboarding instructor and recreational skier. I'm particularly skilled at apres-ski these days EXPERTISE & VISION Coming from a background in Key and National Accounts, I was made redundant at the end of a year of maternity leave back in 2008 and took the opportunity to retrain as a teacher. Some time after being promoted to Head of Vocational Business and Law in a large city centre sixth form college, personal circumstances led me to reevaluate my work/life balance. I’ve been lucky enough to stay in education, helping schools and trusts to hone, refine and invigorate their curriculum, enabling every learner to succeed and make progress in their life. Seventeen years working in education on both sides of the coin helps me to understand the issues, roadblocks, challenges, priorities and aspirations that trusts, schools and teachers have for their learners. I’m passionate about helping to find innovative solutions, helping more learners build their skills and be better prepared for the future world of work. I can advise on options at KS3, KS4 and KS5, with a variety of assessment and progression models, from intervention strategies to challenge for greater depth. First and foremost, Pearson are a qualifications organisation but we're also a publisher and CPD partner and I can support you in each of those areas. Let's work together to give every learner the opportunity to succeed. alison.allerton@pearson.com +44 7713 388253 https://qualifications.pearson.com/en/home.html
