About Ali Ballout

As a university lecturer specializing in AI, ML, and NLP, I am dedicated to advancing the field of artificial intelligence through both teaching and research. I recently completed my PhD at Université Côte d'Azur, where I was part of the WIMMICS team at INRIA and the I3S lab at CNRS, conducting cutting-edge research on active learning for axiom discovery. My work was supported by the prestigious 3IA scholarship, which fosters interdisciplinary research in AI. I hold a strong academic background with an MS degree from Lebanese International University, where I graduated top of my class with a 4.0 GPA. My research contributions include multiple publications in Springer journals and conferences on diverse topics such as parallel computing, computer graphics, computer networks, and logic reasoning. In addition to my academic achievements, I have honed my skills in various programming languages, including PHP, Java, C#, and PLSQL. I have also gained practical experience in IT and networking as an Oracle Apex developer and IT specialist at Amal Educational Institutions. I am passionate about leveraging machine learning and semantic web technologies to address real-world challenges and push the boundaries of what AI can achieve. My goal is to inspire the next generation of AI professionals and contribute to the ongoing evolution of artificial intelligence.
