Hi! I’m Ali BAZ, I started my carrier life as project engineer at Labris who is the biggest mining equipment dealer in Turkey. After two and half years I continued to my professional work as safety coordinator at First Quantum Minerals,UG copper mine located in Rize in Turkey. Then, I moved by getting promotion as OHS Chief to Acacia Mining Operatios Inc.(JV of AKFEN and ILBAK) OP Greenfield Copper Project located in Kastamonu in Turkey. After than, I worked at Zenit Mining Inc.( J.V. of Ariana Resources, UK Based) OP Gold Mine project and operation as HSE Manager during set up and mine operation in Balikesir in Turkey. While I was working, I worked as part time instructer for 2,5 years department of H&S, teaching OHS courses at İstanbul Yeni Yüzyıl University. Then, I worked as Safety Superintendent at Alamos Gold Inc.(Greenfield Gold Project - Canadian Based) located in Çanakkale in Turkey until the project was suspended.(Feb 2020). Then, I worked as project and business development manager at Labris managing mining projects reporting to President. And now I have been working as Expat QHSE Manager at Tosyali Iron and Steel Angola S.A. which is greenfield Iron and Precious Metals Projects in South West Africa, in Angola. I am seeking an ESP, QHSE, Sustainable and/or Executive position where I can share my professional mining work experiences to progress company corporate system and maximize my management & program development experience.
