My role encompasses providing strategic legal solutions and managing high-stakes GDPR issues, M&A projects, agreements and litigation. The drive to deliver commercial solutions to the board and senior management stems from a foundational commitment to uphold the highest legal standards while fostering business growth. Previously, leading the legal function at Carrefour, Majid Al Futtaim Retail, I championed legal strategies and business process improvements across 16 countries. Contributing to strategic objectives and digital transformation, my leadership was instrumental in navigating complex corporate transactions and regulatory matters. With a comprehensive grasp of commercial and data protection laws, I continuously endeavour to enhance my legal acumen and contribute to the advancement of the organisations I serve. I hold- a PhD of Law from USEK- Dual qualification: Solicitor, England & Wales and Lebanon- Legal Practitioner - DIFC Courts - Dubai - UAE- Executive LLM from LSE (expected completion in 2025)- Certified Information Privacy Professional - Europe (CIPP/E)- 2024-IAPP- Artificial Intelligence Governance Professional (AIGP)- 2024- IAPP- Data: Law, Policy & Regulation certification from LSE.
