About Ali Chamblee

Over 25 years combined experience with honestly, palliative and home health- medical and non-medical. Including sales, marketing, education. Experience also includes business development, account management and maintaining and growing referral partner relationships. Extensive background with process, hospice education, assessment, admission and continuum of care. Volunteering with my boxer, Lily, at several senior communities, lead me to find my purpose. That purpose is end of life care and hospice care. I am passionate about the hospice philosophy. Being able to lead hospice educations and to support patients and their families through the toughest season will always be one of my greatest blessings. Through working directly with communities, referral sources - physicians, hospital systems, community events and networking opportunities, I am able to connect with people that need support and care. I am able to walk with them from referral through grief and bereavement. I plan and lead meaningful activities, fun crafts, life enrichment art and education events for families, patients and communities. I also enjoy working directly with our community support groups, senior groups and civic associations. This allows me to be in the right place to make a difference. Meeting patients and learning their story, understanding their what they are passionate about and why. Through sharing who they are, what is most important to them and their hopes and fears as they begin this ending chapter helps me better understand the support they need and the resources we have as a team to provide. Seeing who they are before hospice became a part of that narrative brings me such happiness to know I am following my calling. Being chosen and trusted to walk with them these last months is a place I will never take for granted. Celebrating their life, what matters most to them and the legacy they hope to leave behind is such an honor. My patients, families and communities, past and current,motivate me to continue to research and educate. My hope is to contribute as much good as possible to patients and families so that they may experience a peaceful, calm and comfortable end of life.
