As a Chemical Engineer Patent Examiner at the USPTO, I apply my technical knowledge and analytical skills to evaluate patent applications in the fields of microfluidic devices, radar systems, detection signals, and sensors. I conduct patent research, compare patent claims, and interface with patent attorneys to articulate the technological and electronic concept of design (CONOPS) development data. I also utilize AI algorithms and query tools to manage patent requirements and ensure inventions meet the patent examination principles. I have helped dozens of inventors and patent attorneys get allowances for their patent applications through providing guidance and initiating informative interviews in order to offer guidance and amend their applications. This reduced the 3-10 year patent backlog through compact prosecution. I defended the intellectual property of hundreds of inventors and companies from patent infringement and fraud. I hold a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Maryland Baltimore County, where I conducted calculations and statistical data analysis using excel to create buffer sets for machine learning and analyzing pH gradient peaks. I also wrote a report on the use of AI to simulate ideal buffer compositions for specific pH gradients. Previously, I worked as a Research Assistant at Celnovte Biotech, where I led the quality control (QC) tests and inspections on the binding effectiveness of HRP antibody products to mouse and human cancer tissue.
