Background
About Ali Golbaf
I am a well-trained MSc graduate in Mechanical Engineering; Structural Analysis, with over seven continuous years of research in the fields of Biomechanics, Microstructural-Mechanical Characterization of Bio-Composites, Finite Element Analysis, Machine Learning, and Optimization Methods. Also, with the five years of practical collaboration in the upper-mentioned relevant joint projects with international researchers from The University of Manchester, UK, Vita-Salute San Raffaele University, Italy, and London South Bank University, UK.In the last four years, I have been working on theoretical foundations and modeling processes to simulate the behavior of complex biological systems. My projects led to:(i) Analytical, and numerical analysis of dynamic systems (Rigid Body Motion).(ii) Machine Learning, Optimization Process, Reversed Finite Element Structural and microstructural modeling of Biomechanical Systems.(iv) Writing an OOP inverse finite element code in order to extract neo-Hookean, Mooney– Rivlin and Ogden model parameters of the cortex and cerebellum parts of the mouse brain.(v) Writing the most powerful OOP Python code in order to random and periodic regenerating of power particles into different die shapes.(vi) Designing of a Python-based application for the modeling of bio fibrous structures and soft biological materials, such as human brain and skin, phantoms, and engineering polymers.(vii) Designing of a Python-based application for the modeling of bio porous structures, such as human bone and The design of customized multilayered mouthguards in order to reduce the occurrence of injuries in orofacial soft and hard tissues in boxing,(ix) The development of a guideline for TMJ specialists on how to choose the right type of mouthguard, particularly among athletes with TMJ disorder history,(x) Introduction of a framework for scaled experimentation that can be used for ex-situ testing of biological systems and designing of artificial tissues like skin and bone.
