About Ali Haris

Ali Haris is a highly motivated and accomplished geologist from India, with a strong academic background and hands-on experience in the field of geology and mineral exploration. He is a graduate of the prestigious Aligarh Muslim University, where he completed his B.Sc in Geology Hons in 2019 and his Masters in Applied Geology in 2021. During his Masters, he delved deep into the topic of Phosphorite deposits of India, gaining a thorough understanding of this area of study and presenting his findings in an insightful and well-researched dissertation. After completing his Masters, Ali embarked on a 5-month internship at the Department of Mines and Geology in Jharkhand, Hazaribagh. This opportunity allowed him to gain valuable experience in applied aspects of geology and mineral exploration, working alongside experienced professionals and gaining hands-on experience in metal ore testing and exploration. His hard work and dedication paid off, as he was able to secure his first job in a NABL located in Jaipur, India. At the NABL, Ali quickly established himself as a valuable member of the team, establishing the entire petrography section and rising through the ranks to become a senior geologist within just 3 months. His role in the job involved testing rock aggregates used in building materials and ensuring they met Indian standard codes, as well as testing other materials such as structural steel and hardened concrete. He demonstrated a high level of skill and expertise, and his efforts were recognized by the auditor, who approved several new elements for testing in steel. After a successful tenure at the NABL, Ali decided to expand his knowledge and skills in the field of Environmental Science. He enrolled in Algonquin College, ON Pembroke, Canada, where he is currently pursuing a Graduate Certificate course in Environmental Management and Assessment CO-OP. This program will allow him to gain a comprehensive understanding of environmental management and assessment, and will provide him with the tools and knowledge he needs to make a meaningful impact in this field. In addition to his professional pursuits, Ali Haris is also a talented photographer and cinematographer. He works as a freelance photographer and cinematographer and has successfully completed over 90+ projects.His passion for capturing beautiful moments and visual storytelling is evident in his work, which has been praised for its creativity and technical skill. His ultimate goal is to become an expert in his field and to make a significant contribution to the field of Environmental Science
